Interesting, its got a centrifugal switch like on the early 100 gearbox. Does anybody know for what it was used on the Wolseley?

As far as I can see, Austin-Healey gearboxes are very different.

The 4 speed gearbox from a 110 contains mostly the same internals as a BJ8 'box, but with a different output shaft. Bell housing is different too,as the starter is on the opposite side

Looks like it might have a Borg-Warner overdrive. Yes, interesting that it should have the centrifugal switch which was only used on the 100 BN1. It must have the same function. What else can it do?

Yes you are correct its a Borg-Warner overdrive with the centrifugal switch, it came with the engine I bought however its been snapped up within 4 days on good old Ebay as it would not fit my car so I had no use for it.
