Just spent some time fitting one rear wing bead .... and learned what not to do! Fortunately I did manage to avoid harming the paintwork with judicious use of masking tape either side of the gap and on the tabs, but can't say I am 100% happy with the result. Think this one will have to go down as a learning exercise. Are there any tips / tricks to getting a close fit all along the seam, especially in the area just to the back of the "B" pillar where the wing starts to rise over the wheel well?

Been a while but I seem to remember gently pushing the bead down while tightening up the wing bolts. Tricky on your own !

When working alone, probably sandbags or lots of weight to almost hold the bead a bit too low so that when tightened fully it's pressed up that last millimeter. Don't forget the long roll of asphalt joint sealer/anti-corrosion tape and probably poke holes in that for the bolts rather than try to press them through. Lots of fun !
