Any-one using a filter king? If so .......
a. What size are you using 67 or 85 b. Thoughts on best location in order to keep it from getting too hot! c. Is there any alternative to the barbed connectors, i.e. fitting a screw fitting or do you just have to make do with clips!
Many thanks
Andy

Steve,
Many thanks for the picture - looks very tidy.
Two questions, a, Is this a 67mm or an 85mm. and secondly it looks as if you have some heat retardant tubing on the inlet fuel line to the Filter King, is that so?
Many thanks. Andy

Andy, it's a 85mm with pressure regulator. Glass bowl rather than the alloy option as it,s easier to see any muck in there. I used a piece of alloy square bar to mount to existing holes on the inner wing and then used the bracket that came with it. The inlet line has a length of hose over it, not heat retardant just a hose. I had a flex hose leak via a pin hole that directed the squirt direct onto the exhaust so I figured a piece of hose over it would at least allow any leaks to exit at the bottom onto the floor rather than onto something hot. Set the pressure and not touched it since. Hope it helps! Steve

Has any-one managed to connect via a screw fitting rather than using the barb and clip approach?
