We have a 1956 104s that has been heaviliy modified. It has been in the familiy since 1968. Prior to that it was a California car. The car has an aluminum skin, a nose like a cobra, side vents and a few other features that stand out. Does anyone have any history of the Healey's used at the Shelby driving school in the 60's or other modified 1956 models.

Welcome to the Forum. Many modifieds had a 'Cobra' nose. It was a popular conversion at the time. There was a Modified Healeys registry at one time but it went defunct with the passing of the webmaster. Somewhere I have the data but without pictures it's impossible because there were a few of them.
