I have learned that the early Works Healeys were painted in the Dockers Light Green colour.
I am seeking a modern alternative spec in order for me to purchase paint.

Is the 'Dockers' in your description Docker Brothers, Birmingham - a division of Pinchin Johnson?
Pinchin Johnson was acquired by Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI). ICI automotive finishes was later acquired by PPG. What year was this colour used?

Look for Aston Martin metallic green used in 1952. Paint formulas are different depending on manufacturer/supplier of the paint.
Common paint suppliers have a database to chheck for the right paint code.
