Courtesy of a poster on the Healey List, thought it might be of interest ..... "The Healey Museum has recently added to the wonderful range of ‘Healey’ related items available from the Museum Online Shop. The item is in the shape of the plaque awarded by the organisers of the Le Mans 24‐hour race to cars that completed the gruelling event. In this case, the plaque is from a specific Austin Healey. Several Healeys and Austin Healeys have been eligible for this award, but for Austin Healeys, the stand‐out would have to be two Austin Healey 100’s that finished the 1953 24‐hour race in 12th & 14th place. A remarkable result for a new sports car that had only recently been released to the public. This result did much to bolster sales of the 100. The photo shows the plaque awarded to NOJ 392, the Austin Healey that achieved 12th place, averaging a very respectable 144.15 kph (89.59 mph) and covering 3,462 Kilometres (2,151 miles) in the 24 hours. In recognition of this feat, the Healey Museum has commissioned a ‘Museum’ key fob replicating the award design. These are available direct from the Healey Museum shop with either a dark blue or black protective outer cover that is embossed with the ‘Healey Museum’ logo to the rear. You can view the advertisement for the keyrings here ‐ www.healeymuseum.nl/en/product/14647/ "
