How is everyone around the world? Coping I hope. Here in France we have a strict lockdown with attestations (passes) needed if you want to go out. These are filled in and signed dated and timed by you. There are only a few reasons why you may go out. We are lucky in that we have a large garden and behind an arboretum and river where we can walk for our 1 hour excercize per day. No further than 1km from your home. All my cars are under the house in the sous sol so I can work on them all if needed. Problem is they are all ready to go and of course I can't use them. The first hill climb I was entered for has of course been cancelled. I don't see much happening for ages; Maybe in October I am entered for the Italian day at the banked circuit at Monthléry near Paris. We'll see;
How about all of you?
Keep Safe.

How are you managing day to day life ? We're not as rescritive here in the USA where I'm located (Oregon) every states a little different however. I'm still going in to work keeping the social distancing (6' or 1.83 meter) required with all the others in our commercial coatings facility. Resturants and "non-essential" businesses are closed. We provide construction supplies to new public and private projects and can remain open. Took my '65 BJ8 for a nice drive last Saturday and enjoyed the clear roads and nice weather for once. Many of the early race events have been canceled or re-scheduled for the fall. I don't see the tracks opening up for racing any earlier then July if the virus gets under control. The real question is will any one show up if they've been out of work and can't afford the entry......

Whilst in theory I could use one of my cars for shopping the distance wouldn't even get it properly warm. And, it would attract attention which I think is not a good thing at the moment. Normally I am happy to do that ! There is no possibility of going out for run as if you were stopped there is no legal reason to be doing that. I don't see an early end to this and in fact when things are lifted I shall think twice before entering any motorsport where we will all be together, dinners, hôtels etc. To start with I shall just be happy to blast around the countryside again.

Same here. I keep looking at the Sunbeam when I'm going to the shops, but have resisted so far. At least I can potter about in the garage

This is what I was preparing for this season I'm a bit lucky insomuch my work is considered essential so I get to go to work every day and in my free time I use this to feed the sheep This to do a bit of smallholding and if I butter-up the local flics properly I shall be using this to pick up two tons of hay and sheep nuts in the next few weeks
