The database has just gone live with about 600 images and in the next couple of months there should be over 1000 UK registered Mk1 Sprites. It is designed to be a free reference point for ex owners who wish to know if their old Frogeye still exists as well as for new owners wishing to fill in the gaps in their cars history. I have already had some success in putting an ex owner (who last saw his car 30 years ago) in touch with the current owner. They are now exchanging information on the car's history. Also the Williams & Pritchard Register has been given the contact information for the owner of a car which carried a very early W&P bonnet. The register had no idea that the car still existed and the owner never knew of his car's important early history. I must emphasise that this is not a commercial venture, just an extension of my hobby.
The site can now be found at frogeye.smugmug.com/ but this is simply only a halfway house until the new website is built.
Any additional images of Mk1 Sprites not currently on the database would be welcome and can be stamped "Copyright" with the image owners name.
