When I started doing my seats from our old lounge furniture, I had tried to embroider the Fiberfab logo onto them. It was crap! I bit the bullet and commissioned a woven badge I could sew on Much better! Only problem is tho, that minimum order was 25 🤢

Not yet. I’m on the Jamaican page, obviously, but that’s the next step I guess

From this and this came this The fibreglass bucket seats I got cheaply on eBay. All the vinyl covers were cracked up, the foam turned to dust, but the shells were sound. The drivers side one was modified slightly so that I could get it a little further back - the radius arm box at the heel board getting in the way. i looked at, and copied how the seat covers were made, and used the upcycled leather from our old suite. Everything was hand stitched. I reckon it probably took me about 100 hours all told. Not to a professional standard, but I’m reasonably happy with the end result. It cost me about £15 for the seats, about £20 in spray glue, and not a lot for waxed thread etc. I think when they are sat in more, they should look right 🤞

Progress ! I have finally finished stripping off all the gel coat - a task surely devised by beelzebub himself! Rather than new gel coat, my supplier strongly recommended a 2 pack epoxy instead. Too thick to spray, it has to be rollered on. After 2 coats have cured, it should be relatively simple to flat for the painter

I messed up with the painter. Apparently, I hadn’t booked it in , so it will now be February for painting 🤢. I have, however, booked it into my exhaust builder for early Oct to get the exhaust made
